Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley Ann Brandt was born in Cape Town, South African on December 2, 1981. She is an actress/model popular for her work in TV and film. Her acting career began by appearing on The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came through her subsequent role of Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared on many television series during the past ten years including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Since 2016 Brandt has been taking on the character that of Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa and later immigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens The actress began her career as a model, appearing in print advertisements and commercials. Prior to becoming an infamous model, she worked as an employee of a salesperson in retail and a recruitment consultant for information technology. The role she played was Leilani Fa'auigaese in the New Zealand TV sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. She was also in 2021's Spartacus Blood and Sand as the slave girl Naevia. She has as well played the role of Naevia again in the prequel mini-series Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three separate TV shows, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) as well as Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began to play a bounty-hunter demon named Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. It is her largest role so far. The show features her co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to report live for the New York Stock Exchange. She has many highly acclaimed programs under her belt. A veteran of broadcasting with over two decades of experience in covering economics and business, she played an integral role in establishing the television channel CNBC as among the most prestigious in the business and economy segment. Her remarkable career as a journalist is a proof that this lady was destined for this profession. As a young girl Maria was confused as to what career to pursue. At one point she wanted to become a musician, one day she would want to be or an interior designer. When she found out about the thrilling and exciting opportunities that journalism brings, there was nothing she could do but go. She's not only a great journalist, she's also a role-model for women who wish to make it in the male-dominated world. Apart from being called as one of the 50 faces that shaped the decade, she was one of the few female journalists to be honored in the Cable Hall of Fame. Also, she is a writer and columnist.
